Hi all -

OK, so it's been a really long time since my last update. So long that I think I'm finally used to typing on my iPhone...maybe. What can I say? There have been so many times I wanted to write a post but I've pretty much have had no down time for the last 2 years. When I did, I just wanted to sleep or spend time with my family. I was lucky to even update my reel and resume. I still hardly have the time. As I edit this, my girls are playing loudly so I'll try and keep this short.

The only break I had was more than a year ago for my 40th. Now I could have handled that turn of age by doing something like buying a sports car. Nope. I got 4 game systems (Playstation Vita, PS4, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, if you were wondering) and went to Disney World with the family. It was the first planned vacation we had since the girls were born...over 5 years. It was unfortunately for only 3 days. They loved it there. So did I. How could I not? Even saw a different side of it...meeting Princesses. Want to find the time to go back.

There have been a ton of projects, too long to list here (you can see them on the full list page), but I'll mention a few. Some of the things are finally coming out as well.

Boardwalk Empire may have finished its run, but before that, I worked on The Knick, which is a Steven Soderberg directed Cinemax show that aired last year. Foxcatcher is still in the theater to good reviews, and if you saw the oscars, there were a few nominations. The Affair is a Showtime miniseries that won the Golden Globe for Best TV Drama. Try and get through The Fault in our Stars without crying. As a preview, check out my reel where I had to remove the actors leg.

A big change for me this year is I am no longer freelance and have a staff position at Fuse FX. Still work on TV shows and I've been mostly on a show called "Powers", which is a Sony produced Playstation show. Meaning it will air through the PS3, PS4, PS Vita and Playstation TV systems. Starting today, March 10th, anyone with the PS plus [subscription] can watch it. The first 3 episodes are available and the more will be in the coming weeks.

For those without the PS plus, the first episode is on youTube. There's a behind the scenes video and a preview for the season with some of my shots in it that makes it look really interesting. Couldn't tell you any more.

Finally, since last year I have been training in Daito-ryu Aiki-jujitsu. I took Aikido in college so many years ago, and this art is where it comes of them anyway. It branched off of this. Best to describe it as a mix of Aikido and Jiujitsu, which is more familiar to most. It's taught very traditionally and it's a lot of fun. My sensei started a blog about it and there are a few pics of me calmly watching people get thrown around.

I'll try and keep up with these posts, as it's been way too long. But no promises ;) Nap time on the train might take precedence.
